Consultation Services for Schools Districts
Autism Partnership offers professional support to students, teachers, and schools, aiming to implement intervention effectively for teachers and students with ASD in different settings.
Autism Partnership provides comprehensive and ongoing training for school districts. The long-term objective is that school personnel will be able to independently provide effective intervention.
Consultants provide training for staff and ancillary support staff and assist with development of individualized Progressive Applied Behavior Analysis programs. Trainings are designed for agencies or schools that want to train any size group (e.g. staff, teachers, educational assistants, administrators, ancillary service providers, etc.) in their preferred location and are tailored to each group’s needs. Topics may include introduction to Progressive Applied Behavior Analysis, discrete trial teaching, overview of autism, analyzing behavior problems and developing effective treatment programs for reduction of disruptive behavior and teaching appropriate replacement skills.
This format is highly recommended for school districts as it provides a comprehensive workshop to train all staff members in their district. Special education teachers, paraprofessionals, other service providers, teachers responsible for inclusion, parents, and administrators all benefit and are strongly encouraged to attend.
